Sony Unveils 3G E-Book Reader, Library Tie-In

An expanded ecosystem promises to challenge the e-reader competition.

Looks like Sony really will be a competitor to Amazon’s Kindle. I recently updated my iRex iLiad reader to a Sony PRC-505 and I like the device, although I must admit that the fact that Sony does only sell eBooks in their eBook store (http://ebookstore.sony.com/) to US citizens using a US-issued credit card is a big downer.
